Many of you are having a problem with the blogger assignment as you did not have any problems with the test and there are not enough questions to answer so to earn the blogger marks you can do this. Post some type of question that you have about math. Is there something that you are confused about that we have or haven't learned this year. If you are still really stumped create a question for others to solve i.e. a brain teaser. You will be responsible for provinding an answer to this brain teaser at a later point in time.

happy blogging everyone.

Mr. R

Here is a brainteaser for everybody!!

on one side of a river there are three whitemen and on the other side of the river there are three canibals. There is also a boat on the canibals side. You have to get the three canibals on to the other side with the whitemen, but the boat only has three spots and you cannot bring them all over at once. you also can't bring them over one by one either. Oh ya, and on the boat there can never be more canibals on the boat than whitemen because they will gang up and eat the whitemen but there can be more whitemen than canibals because the canibals are cowards they do it 2 on 1 not 1 on 1.

Good luck!! (they'll never get it)!!**Sorry the boat is actually on the whitemans side!! ( MY FAULT, SORRY)**

**You have to write down the number and the answer you put down. Then you correct it and tell why and how you got the question wrong. homeworks done!**

when we do our correction do we just put the question number then right the answer down ?

to do the chart on the math test you look at the **first row** and **first coloumn** where it says " **Second Number(+)** and **First Number (+).** it means that when you add/subtract an integer that is both positive, the answer is either a positive or a negative , which is what you put into the blank .

I need help with multiplying numbers with decimals. I don't understand where to put the decimal after you have multiplyed the numbers with decimals. If someone could help me please.

Thanks

Remember everyone you need to check my blog, "Grade 7 math blogorama" to find the assignment that is due Monday.

Happy blogging everyone!

Mr. R

i thought we have a blogger assignment? because you said something about it being due on monday? i think.

I've had a very peculiar life. For the first quarter of my life, I played no sports at all. After that, I only played one sport at a time. After the first quarter, I played only baseball for ten years. I got tired of that so I switched to only playing tennis for nine years. Next, for the past eight years, I've only been running. How old am I?

On monday I will let everyone know their test results along with the grade that they have so far received on blogger. In order to do this though I need people to let me know who they are if they are chosing to use a nickname. Please reply as a comment to this post with your first name and nickname. If you do not use a nickname, then you do not need to reply to this post.

Thank you everyone and have a great weekend.

Remember I will be posting stuff on my math blogorama over the weekend, such as brain teasers, games etc. so keep checking it. As well a new blog assignment will be posted at the beginning of next week (Monday night).

Cheers.

This is a website I found that will help you with intergers if you are having trouble. It talks about number lines, multiplying intergers, dividing intergers, and comparing intergers. All it doesn't talk about it adding and subtracting intergers. The link is http://www.mathleague.com/help/integers/integers.htm. Good luck to everyone on the test coming up! Remember that it's on Wendensday! Sorry for my bad spelling if I spelt anything wrong!

For anyone having a hard time trying to understand how to blog click on the link on the right side of the page titled "Helpful Hints on Blogging" These hints were written by a grade 10 student from Daniel Mac and are extremely helpful for the first time blogger. Before you create your first post I recommend that eveyone read this post on another blog. It contains important information on the why you need to be careful when blogging. READ ME FIRST Don't worry everyone I have complete confidence that you will be able to blog very successfully in the near future. |

I just want to remind everyone that you should be checking the grade 7 math bloggorama link on this site as this is my blog where I will be posting important information, brain teasers, quiz prep math games ect. for everyone to try.

Ok everyone let me first start of by saying how enthusiastic I am to give all of you the opportunity to have more input into your learning of Mathematics. My hope is that all of you will use this virtual class space to help each other succeed in math this year. Remember this is your web blog, so treat your classmates with respect while using the blog how you see fit, be it asking questions, answering questions posed by other students or myself, maybe sharing a math brain teaser or link to another website or blog that everyone can benefit from.

So here is your assignment for the upcoming weekend. You are to use either the search function in blogger, or a search engine such as www.google.com to find either a blog or website that is relevant to middle years mathematics (any grades from 6 to 8). You need to send me either the blog address, or the web address along with a two to five sentence summary of what the blog or website is about.

CHANGE****You are to create a new post to answer this question. Include both the link to the blog or website and the 2 to 4 sentence discription as to how this link involves math. One restriction. You Cannot use the same link as someone else on this blog.

So happy searching and blogging everyone!
